Examinations

The designation of contingency days within the common examination timetable is in the event of national or significant local disruption to examinations in the United Kingdom. It is part of the awarding bodies’ standard contingency planning for examinations.

Candidates are reminded that they must remain available until Wednesday 23rd June 2027 should an awarding body need to invoke its contingency plan.

GCSE Results Day - Thursday 19th August 2027

GCSE exam results can be collected by students from school between 9:30am and 11am on Thursday 19th August 2027. If someone is collecting results on a student's behalf, then the exams team will need an email from the student in advance to authorise the collection: (J.Price1@arkblake.org and a.sylvestre@arkblake.org). The nominated person will also need to bring with them photo ID on the day for verification purposes. We regret that results cannot be given over the telephone. Lastly, any uncollected results will be emailed to students on their school address at 12pm.

GCSE results will be available for collection on Thursday 19th August 2027 from 9am to 11 am.

All results that are not collected will be emailed to student email addresses from 1pm on the day of the results.
