Last week, the first of 3 groups of our Year 10 students had the fantastic opportunity to visit KPMG's offices in Canary Wharf, as a part of our ongoing commitment to broadening students' awareness of future career pathways.
KPMG, one of the UK's leading professional services firms, welcomed our students for a day of exploration and learning. The visit offered a unique insight into the life at a global consultancy, including an overview of the firm's diverse client base and its work with major institutions such as the UK government.
During the visit, students were challenged to think critically about public sector funding, presenting their views on which area should receive the most investment. The majority made compelling arguments in favour of education - demonstrating their thoughtful values and strong communication skills.
A standout moment of the day was a talk from a KPMG partner, who shared his inspiring 25-year journey with the firm, offering students valuable lessons on career growth and resilience.
Our students conducted themselves with maturity, curiosity, and professionalism throughout the visit. We are extremely proud of the way they represented Ark Blake and look forward to continuing to provide enriching opportunities like this in the future.
Thank you KPMG for your time and investment in our Ark Blake students!
